Welcome to Pittsburgh Makeup by Julie Marckisotto.  I'm a professional Makeup Artist with 20 years of experience and have worked on fashion shows, live television, commercials, magazine fashion shoots, music videos and more.  In addition to that I've done makeup for hundreds of weddings which I truly love! I'm extremely passionate about my craft and I hope you can see that by my website. For most services I can either travel to your location, or you can visit my licensed makeup studio. 

My Misson~ To never view this as just my job, but to help my clients in every way that I can while making them look and feel beautiful. When you hire me, I will go above and beyond and give 110%, that is a promise.

About My Career (so far)...

First and foremost, makeup is my biggest passion. I've been in the makeup and skincare industry for 20 years now and everyday I find new things about it that I love. Making people feel and look their best has always been my biggest inspiration and to me, there's really no feeling like it.  This industry never gets old -there are always new people to meet and new techniques to learn.  I can truly say, I love my job!

After getting my Cosmetology license in 1992 I jumped right into the cosmetics field.  In my beginner years, I worked for  several cosmetic companies in department stores that included Chanel, Christian Dior, Estee Lauder and Lancome to name a few.  I took that experience into salons, working in many upscale spas sharing the importance of skincare and makeup techniques with my clients, this was truly rewarding and made me crave more.

The Next Chapter...

After gaining several years in the industry I fulfilled a huge dream of mine, opening my very own Makeup Studio.  Pittsburgh Makeup is a licensed Esthetician Salon located in Delmont, PA.  If I'm not at my studi0 doing makeup lessons or bridal trials, I'm taking my business on the road doing on-location makeup for weddings, commercial projects and events in the Pittsburgh area.
