Pittsburgh Makeup Studio Masterclass
An investment in yourself. No stone will be left un-turned in this two hour one-on-one session which is designed around your specific beauty needs. Whether you are a complete newbie to makeup in general or just need an update with your look, Jules can help. We'll start with a thorough consultation to pinpoint what your expectations are with your makeup as well as your skincare routine. Next we'll take a look through your own makeup bag to see what you are currently working with to make some suggestions about what to keep and possibly get rid of! We love a less is more approach to makeup — so only using the things that work for you and getting rid of the rest is a great place to start. We believe streamlining your makeup wardrobe will help take out the guess work when getting ready each day!
We love starting this class with what tools you will need to create a nice classic everyday look, since tools are truly an essential part of a flawless look. This first look we do will be something you are able to do in 10-15 — more of a daytime/work vibe. Then if desired, you'll learn how you can bump this look up for an evening out. This class is also a great option if you want a little more practice as it’s partially a hands-on approach. You’ll have the chance to try the techniques we’re learning and use those makeup brushes as well! When we're done with the lesson, a list of wish-list products will be given as well as a detailed face-chart to help you duplicate the look at home. We can even order some products for you to take the ease out of shopping after. As with all of our lessons and clients, we’re always free after the class through a quick email or call when you have any questions and absolutely love hearing the progress you are making with your new products and skills!
Cost: $200 [Duration 2 hours] A $50 deposit is required to book this class. You’ll owe a balance of $150 on class day.
Pittsburgh Makeup 1 Hour Lesson
This one hour lesson is designed for someone who needs a little extra guidance with their daily makeup routine but already has an understanding of the basics. As always each lesson is specifically customized just for you and your daily makeup and skincare needs. We'll go over basic skin care fundamentals and how to create the perfect canvas for makeup application. Next, a step by step makeup application will be demonstrated in detail from start to finish on how to create an everyday look. As with all lessons, this is your time and we can address anything you want to learn within the hour. You'll leave the studio with a new perspective on makeup and a face-chart to help you create the look at home! If a more hands-on approach is the way you learn best, consider opting for the two hour Masterclass.
Cost: $125
Bridal Makeup Lesson
This lesson is specifically for the bride-to-be who wants to learn how to do her own makeup for the big day. Having done countless weddings in her career, Jules can guide you through a start to finish bridal makeup application that will have you confident when duplicating the same look. We’ll start the lesson looking through your own makeup bag to see if there are any gaps need to be filled as far as products go. This will also be a partially hands on experience and enough time is set aside for you to practice each step as we go!
Cost: $155
Please note a $50 deposit is required to book this session
Mature Skin Makeup Lesson
This in-studio class is specifically catered to maturing skin. We will focus on hydration, luminosity and how to enhance your natural beauty as your skin is experiencing some changes. Skincare can be overwhelming so this lesson takes a deep dive here before any makeup is applied. When it comes to makeup really for any age, it should enhance your beauty—not hide it. The step by step lesson will focus on getting that glow back so your makeup feels light, fresh and effortless. It’s not an anti-aging lesson because aging is beautiful but perfect for refreshing your routine and learning what truly works for your skin today! You’ll walk away with a wish list of products & shopping links as well as a face-chart so you can duplicate the look at home.
Cost: $200 [class duration 2 hours] - $50 deposit due at time of booking
Refresher Makeup Lesson
This class is for past Master Class clients or Individual Makeup lesson clients only. Sometimes we just need a refresher!
Cost: $100 [class duration 1 hour]
Junior Makeup Lesson
An age appropriate lesson for the girl 16 and under who is just starting to wear makeup and learn about skincare. She'll learn how to naturally accentuate her already beautiful features as well as take away some great skin-care tips as well as a customized face-chart to help her duplicate the look at home.
Cost: $85 [up to 1 hour class duration]
Makeup Lesson Party
Have a couple friends interested in a makeup lesson as well? Our in-studio makeup lesson party is a great reason to get a group of friends together for a fun afternoon at the studio to play with makeup! Your group of 3 or more is considered a party and offered at a discounted rate of $85 a person. To allow for individual attention, we like to keep the groups small and intimate when possible with no more than 4 or 5 people tops. This will be a "class" setting with a hands-on approach with one person from your party being designated as the model. Class time is determined by the amount of people attending and must be arranged at the time of booking.
Makeup Artist Workshops for Salons or Individuals
Jules has worked with several individuals as well as salons and would love the opportunity to work with you! Whether you want to learn some additional skills after obtaining your license in beauty school, or already have a few years experience but want to improve your technique, help is here! Individual or small group workshops are available whether you want to sharpen your own bridal makeup technique, need some pointers with airbrushing or covering a tattoo, or just need to start at the basics, Pittsburgh Makeup is excited to work with you and can offer you 25+ years of experience in the industry. This is your time to explore and expand your artistry to the next level. The exciting thing about this field is there is always an opportunity to grow and learn from one another! Jules is also available for salon education and specializes in natural makeup, mature makeup, makeup lessons, airbrushing, bridal makeup and more. Traveling outside of PA is an option so don’t hesitate to reach out.
